The practice and warm-up facilities at the club are excellent and are easily accessible from the locker rooms.
The practice putting green, practice nets, short-game, and bunker area, are all close to the clubhouse. The two driving and long shot areas are short walks away across the course. These facilities enable you to hone your game and prepare for that all-important first tee shot.
All the practice and warm-up facilities are maintained to a high standard and are open for use by members and visitors alike. Priority is given to the Professionals when they are using any of the facilities for coaching.
The practice putting green is a true representation of the greens on the course. It is cut, managed, prepared, and tended to the same standards and is located directly in front of the clubhouse lounge and restaurant.
The practice nets are located just behind the practice green and offer an excellent warm-up facility. With a well-designed netting system and close proximity to the clubhouse, this facility is frequently used by golfers prior to teeing off.
The short-game and bunker area is situated between the first and seventh holes, just a short stroll from the clubhouse. This facility has two bunkers, an extensive short-game area, from both flat and undulating lies, and a green onto which you can chip.
There are two large driving and long game practice areas. The largest is located behind the 9th tee, bordering the 11th fairway, and is used extensively by the Professionals for lessons and running coaching sessions. This facility offers two large grass teeing areas during the summer months. A synthetic teeing area is used during the Winter. Practice balls are supplied free of charge. The other runs parallel to the 17th fairway and is used more as a longshot facility as it extends to over 300 yards. This is the practice area of choice for golfers wishing to work on their long game.
